Is the BMW 7 Series All-Wheel Drive?
Yes, you can configure your ideal 7 Series BMW with xDrive all-wheel drive! All-wheel drive is more prevalent in the lineup than rear-wheel drive.
The 740i and 750i sedans come standard with rear-wheel drive, but both are available as xDrive AWD models. The 740e plug-in hybrid comes with BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive, as does the high-performance M760i.
Safety Feastures of the New 2018 BMW 7 Series
Whether you like the sure-footed confidence of all-wheel drive or the free-wheeling fun of rear-wheel drive, a new BMW 7 Series sedan will take care of you.
Each 7 Series sedan has selectable drive modes, so you can optimize your BMW’s suspension performance to any given road conditions. Front and rear parking sensors reduce the risk of scratching your beautiful new car, and LED headlights with automatic high beams allow you to see and be seen.
You can add a Parking Assistance package that includes an active parking assist feature as well as a surround-view camera system. If you really don’t feel like parking, you can even opt for remote control parking.
A Driver Assistance Plus package includes even more active safety features, like:
- Forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking
- Head-up display
- Blind spot information
- Adaptive cruise control
- Lane keeping with collision avoidance
- And more!
These are just our favorite safety systems available in the BMW 7 Series lineup. Within the 7 Series, you can select your ideal luxury car, from a performance-oriented sports sedan to an absolutely heavenly executive comfort experience.
